Exploration with hessian and glue

I have began my exploration with glue-like substances. My first step was to get my hands on some hessian, which was the material that was involved before. I felt it worked well in cohesion with the PVA. The hessian is a very intricate cross-hatched  material which I feel bodes well with the glue, as the detailed hessian can be seen with the transparent layer. Which in turn provides an enclosed space, it could be said that it creates a certain environment.

I want to leave this and eventually break the glass to be left with a solidified block and the hessian preserved within.
